Truth Among Liars (TAL) don't like confined spaces so we gave them the roof!  Come check the live screen-printing (printing on theirs and yours), guest DJ's and musicians, refined art, and general topshelf vibes.  Tim Slayton and TomP of TAL team up with some local known’s and unknowns to “bring the fiya”, as they describe it, to the roof of this surprise event at Activation 440.

Don’t let the name fool you, though the information for the closing of 440 was in the original press release we decided to up the ante and make the show a bit more lively with a few surprises. And yes, we are sending this out two days prior to the event. We had a really great turnout for the two day opening event team up between No Kings Collective and ReadysetDC, and we would be remiss for not attempting to close it out in a similarly classy style. For those that did not get to see the event first hand we definitely recommend coming through and seeing and experiencing some new things we have in store. Please join us at the 440 space, to celebrate the Art of Last Minuteness.

We have the same killer line up of artists, and then some. While local favorites, Truth Amongst Liars are killin the rooftop space, with both music, fine art and of course the live silk-screening we will also have a presence from Operation Arts and also local charity Dreams For Kids. Also young and talented artist Diana Cruz while be doing a live painting, based on some new concepts that have recently grace her sketchbooks. Just like the opening there are unnamed surprises and giveaways that will be presented throughout the night. 

Also as a great addition we have our friend Tim “Con” Conlon with a crazy installation attempt also on the roof. Though, he is supposed to be in France for a show, he will be taking graffiti to a new level by attempting to be in two places at the same time.

As most of you all know, Kelly Towles, Gaia and every artist in the Activation 440 space at the Josephine building absolutely crushed it with full room installations and mural work, and It was great to have them apart of the show over the past 3 weeks. What you don’t know is that all the artist appreciated the support far more than you could imagine. So in return all artist donated work that will be raffled off at the end of the show. It is free and you just need to RSVP. If you attended the first events you are already on the list. We welcome you to bid the space farewell and close it out right with great art, live silk-screening, a cool rooftop, good music, drinks and great friends.
